Arlington Towers is the best! This is a classy joint with a pool, sauna, and 24 hour door person. I love being able to hit up the movie theatre, casinos, and bars and walk home instead of driving drunk. In the summer, I can listen to the Artown events from my balcony or walk across the street and go river surfing in the whitewater kayak park. Association fees are a bit high, about $300 per month for a studio, but this goes towards maintenance, upkeep, and emergency funds. My view is awesome and I feel like a pimp daddy living in a little slice of urbanity in little old Reno. This building has been successfully operating for 40+ years so there are few surprises like with the new developments. About 30% of the residents here are young professionals with a large slice of seniors which keeps the place quiet yet vibrant.

One of the FEW great places in RENO. We overlook the river. Good management & maintenance.

Only negative side is that the HOA does not allow for large dogs...

I agree completely. What is it with people that want to keep large dogs in condos. Not only does it suck for the dog, but it is very undesirable for tenants and guests as well.
