1/29/07 - DOWNTOWN SPEAKS: 210 NORTH - A few months back, there was quite a collective of negative vibes against the success of 210 North. So how are they doing now that the initial buzz has died sown a bit? Let's ask Jill: "The response has been phenomenal and continues to grow. I'm not sure what's going in downstairs but they have begun some remodel as well. We have plans to expand Divinity and add the balconies."

UPDATE 10/31/06 - 210 North is Open!

Project 210 North was the vision of partners Rob Stone and Jill Gianoli; it is now rapidly coming to fruition. Years of careful planning and thought have been poured into this artistic and creative project. The scope of the project consists of three facets. The meta-lounge, with an entrance blanketed in ornate soffits and lampshades washed in glowing light. Enter the lounge boasting modern European furniture made up of lush and glossy fabrics, There are two VIP lounges, VIP beds, a private entrance and lavatory, and of course, two full-service bars to ensure every glass is always full. The niche is sophisticated in nature, directed primarily towards young professionals and all professionals whom have been anxiously awaiting that perfect place to enjoy a special evening out.  We would never exclude the true club crowd who will surely be a core-supporting group of the project.  210 North will offer something for every age group.  The décor is luxurious and opulent and will surely satisfy the richest of tastes.  210 North will stand alone in service and quality. We define ourselves with consistently perfect cocktails and martinis. When complete 210 North will offer a truly stimulating environment for the all of the senses.
The second facet, Divinity, the lounge at 210 North, is the visually stunning jewel of the project.  Bathed in glittering chrome curtains, a magnificent chandelier consisting of 5000 pieces of blown glass, by renowned artist, Eva Menz,  lush velvet loveseats, and a gorgeous white marble bar that takes center stage. These elements make this lounge the perfect retreat to game on our 15 multi-denominational machines or to relax, enjoy, and indulge the senses.  The goal here is to provide a luxurious gaming environment where suits and stilettos prevail.

Yes! Grand Sierra Resort will be partnering with Nikki Beach. Initial plans in GSRs partnership with Nikki Beach call for a five star Nikki Beach Hotel to occupy the top three floors of the Grand Sierra Resort Hotel property (a hotel within a hotel), a Nikki Beach Club at poolside, and multiple nightclub entertainment venues in the current Grand Sierra facility. A Nikki Beach Club is also planned for the poolside area at the Grand Sierra that will transform the area into a beach front entertainment venue complete with the Nikki Beach Club signature white motif of cushioned lounge beds, cabanas, swim-up bars and “daylight nightlife” poolside entertainment featuring live bands and DJ’s spinning Nikki Beach custom music mixes.
