Summary of Transportation Findings

· Operating conditions at key roads and

intersections are good, even after the Virginia

improvements and in 2030.

· Virginia Street's pedestrians will enjoy

widened sidewalks and pedestrian

"scramble" signal and mid-block crosswalks.

· Bicycle use is currently low within the project

area.

· Parking in general is sufficient, except during

event days. Two new garages proposed with

500-600 spaces each.

· 4th Street identified as TOD, also as a bike

and major arterial road.
