Rubicon Deli
Rubicon Deli is a welcome addition to downtown Reno. Their sandwiches are made of fresh ingredients, with fresh-baked bread, and while they are a little bit on the expensive side by sandwich standards, they are priced fairly -- you get what you pay for.
Rubicon Deli is locally owned and operated, and located on California Avenue in the back of the St. James Infirmary building. I like to get the Rubicon Special (their best sandwich IMHO) or the veggie, which is really good for a veggie sandwich. The bread choices are good too -- try the jalapeno or blue cheese bread. The spicy tuna sandwich is also great tasting.
It's also the only deli in town with rooftop dining, a great experience in the summer when Cal Ave is bustling with folks. I highly recommend Rubicon Deli.
