Basque Restaurant - Sante Fe Hotel
Downtown Reno has two of the best Basque restaurants in Northern Nevada, and this is one of them. The Santa Fe Hotel is a family style dining restaurant, with long old fashioned tables and a wonderful bar to wait while you get enough people to fill a table. The food is made from scratch and plenty of it. The food starts arriving the moment you sit down and doesn't stop until it's all over.
There is no intimate dining here, and this is not necessarily the best restaurant for a business meeting where more business is required than meeting. This is family style dining, and yes you sit at tables with total strangers gorging on the best Basque food in town. People travel from all over the West Coast to experience dining at the Sante Fe Hotel.
The hotel itself is old and is the perfect setting for this restaurant.
