I'm guessing by nerdy... you mean where smart people with good taste frequent? A beautiful room, the most eclectic/badass jukebox, the best selections of beer in town, and always really cool movie on the screens? Oh and a rooftop patio with downtown views. Hmmm....I guess if that's nerdy...sign me up
St. James Infirmary
A must-stop when on California Avenue
St. James Infirmary is located on California Avenue, and boasts THE coolest juke box in town. Not a sporty-type bar by any means, you'll find this to be a more neighborhood bar that doesn't cater to any one stereotype or personality. That is what makes this bar so inviting, despite its dark interior and atmopshere. I haven't been by since they opened.
St. James Infirmary is a great addition to California Avenue, and if you make it down to Cal Ave, stop by St James and see what they've done with the place.
