Mark your calendars for a terrific HRPS program coming up on February 24th at 7:00 pm. The House That Tony Built. HRPS member, Barrie Lynn, will share the history of her bungalow plus show her remarkable restoration of the porch. This free program is open to the public, no reservations are needed. New Japanese Restaurant Coming to Midtown

The owners of LuLou's are opening a new Japanese restaurant in town called Kauboi Izakaya, in Midtown between Chocolate Walrus and Sierra Nevada Chocolate Factory. 

It will be an informal style Japanese restaurant more along the lines of a tavern or pub. It will feature char-grilled foods, dumplings, noodle, and some rice dishes, and no sushi of any sort. 

Cooking on Japanese charcoal, customers can expect food way beyond soy sauce.
