Pies with a Purpose is a culinary showcase in support of The Eddy House, where Downtown Reno's top chefs, including Larry Dunning of Bowl, Joseph Bell of Wild River Grille, as well as chefs from Noble Pie Parlor, The Jungle, Brewer's Cabinet, Jax on the Tracks, Homage Bakery and more come together to support the Eddy House. Fresh from the rumor mill and heard from multiple sources, I'm hearing Whitney Peak Hotel's new flagship restaurant, presumably located on the first floor, will be called Heritage, and Mark Estee is involved somehow. I'm hearing Josh Berreman from Chez Louie will be the chef, will be locally sourced comfort food, and have on-site butchuring similar to Campo. Exciting stuff, we'll see if it pans out!
