$6 Million Silver Legacy Renovation

by Mike Van Houten / Jan 28, 2013

The Silver Legacy Hotel and Casino has recently finished over $6 million in renovations and has new food outlets planned for 2013. New for 2013 includes Starbucks® on the main casino floor for your caffeine fix, to be open by mid-March and Hussong’s Cantina-Taqueria®, opening mid-April. Hussong’s brings the flavor of the oldest bar in Mexico to Reno, birthplace of the first Margarita, along with unbelievably delicious Baja food. Café Sedona is going through a complete remodel, with an updated look, expanded food items and a new name. The Oyster Bar & Grille is moving its location and diversifying with great grilled items in addition to Pan Roasts, Cioppino and crab cakes. Flavors! the Buffet offers new tastes headed by a new executive chef. They also recently opened the Blender Bar, offering interesting frozen and specialty drinks, some in sizes up to 100 ounces.

Throughout the hotel casino they've also installed 55" Flat Screen TV's.

Most of Silver Legacy's retail outlets have been expanded or upgraded in late 2012, including Tradwinds Casual Wear, B-iconic, and the Health Spa, which was renovated to sport a 'zen' theme.

Stop by and check out the changes!
