- The Christmas tree lighting is back on for Monday Dec 6. Festivities start at 4:45 and the 55-foot-tall tree will be lit at 5:15 pm. Food donations — frozen turkeys and canned or boxed food - will be taken for the Evelyn Mount Community Outreach.
- New Years Eve fireworks are on! The fireworks will be fired simultaneously from the Silver Legacy's upper and lower levels, Harrah’s and Club Cal Neva rooftops. The 15-minute show will be synchronized to music from various artists who've appeared in Reno in the past year.
