CommRow Photo Contest!

I received a press release from CommRow regarding a new photo contest to get the community involved. Check it out below:

WHAT: Our Real Reno photo contest

WHEN: Beginning Wednesday, June 15, 20

WHY: CommRow is passionate about our community, so we’re asking for locals help to showcase the beauty, vibrance and diversity of Our Real Reno, to be displayed within CommRow and in the marketing. Twenty-five randomly selected people will win an annual CommRow membership consisting of access to the climbing facility, additional fitness programming and more*. Another 25 will receive gift certificates and a VIP invitation to our Grand Opening celebration.

HOW: Please submit photos of the people, places, activities, amazing outdoors within and surrounding our city, four-legged friends frolicking -- anything that illustrates Our Real Reno to www.OurRealReno.com through July 15, 2011.

Qualifications:

·         High resolution images are strongly encouraged (1 mb+ in jpeg, tiff, gif, bmp or pdf formats).

·         Submitter must have legal rights to images and agree to relinquish reproduction rights to CommRow, LLC upon submission

    what about that terrible eyesore on Sierra(old Masonic building)-if anyone knows what is planned to get rid of that eyesore please post

    I think Leal owns the old Masonic Building and the dead Old Reno casino next door. I don't know what the plans are, if any. They both could use a date with a bulldozer but the Masonic building is supposedly the oldest standing structure left in downtown (1870). It has history.
