Kings In For Sale...Again

Vacant Lot Next to Riverside Artist Lofts for Sale as Well

- It looks likes Siena Comminities is going to continue their trend of building absolutely nothing in Reno. The piece of land they acquired as part of the trade for the land the Reno Aces Ball Park currently sits on is now up for sale. The lot on the river between the Riverside Lofts and Sierra Street has been LISTED for $995,000. There was a clause built into the land trade that if they did not build anything on the property within four years of acquiring it, the City had the right to purcahse it back. The city is not in a financial position right now to purchase the land, which was originally slated for this project back in the condo-boom days.

- Also on the market, the lender-owned Kings Inn has returned as a "historic" downtown Reno property. Wanna buy it?

- The Woolworth’s building at 101 North Virginia has been listed for sale for $3.9M, over its last sale price of $3.75M in 11/2006 (interior demo has been completed since then).  This has been listed for lease for years, but I don’t recall a for sale listing.

-  Right next door, the Cal Neva had listed their Nevadan Hotel tower for sale, price undisclosed.
