Jacobs Entertainment has purchased 611 and 623 West 2nd Street for $5.2 million.
According to Yelp, 611 West 2nd Street is home to Val's Lounge (formerly Shifters) but Google says it's home to Boar's Nest Lounge. There is also a weekly motel behind the bar named MidTown Motel with 38 units according to assessor information. The property was last purcahsed in 2002 by Nevada Equity Ventures Inc for $850,000
623 West 2nd Street is the Ambassador Apts, a white apartment building next to MidTown Motel. This property was last purchased in 2002 for $250,000. According to assessor information this building has six units.
UPDATE: Jacobs Entertainment does not plan on demolishing the property.
