I was there as well for the Windspire event (but didn't get in any of your pictures, though)! I am also looking forward to seeing Spread Peace open soon--the inside looks really nice--and they may attempt a "soft" opening as soon as this upcoming weekend! On another positive note, the former Cold Stone site downtown will soon open as "The Hop/Scooptastic" which will be a 50's style eatery featuring ice cream and also some casual food items such as corn dogs and milkshakes. The owners were there and anticipated a late July opening. Hope they can catch some of the 90 degree weather to help their ice cream business!
West Street Market Windspire
Today new windspires were unveiled in downtown Reno. Here are some pictures! Also, there are pics of new artwork up around West Street Market, and a sneak peek inside Spread Peace Cafe.
