Illuminati Ball Unites Entrepreneurs and Artists

by Mike Van Houten / Jan 8, 2015

Inspired by the extraordinary 1972 Rothschild surrealist dinner party of the same name, the Illuminati Ball aims to bridge the gap between local business magnates and creatives, while simultaneously raising money to support the second annual Reno InstaGrammys. The soiree will take place on the evening of Friday, Feb. 13, filling two levels of downtown’s Reno Provisions with music, art, drinks, costumes intended to test the limits of imaginations, and more.

Noticing an ongoing divide between the business and art collectives in the community, a group of Holland Project board members, affiliates and supporters inspired and rewarded the creativity of Instagram photographers showcasing the Truckee Meadows. Now they bring the concept offline, blending reality and imagination all to pay homage to the Biggest Little City that nurtures all walks of life and mind.

Tickets for The Illuminati Ball can be purchased at www.illuminatiball.com starting Jan. 9. Details will be leaked in the weeks leading up to event on the website and at www.facebook.com/renoinstagrammys. Questions regarding the event, its purpose and the people behind the scenes can be sent to anonymous@illuminatiball.com
