Three super-sized projects continue to rise in the University District, while another is now complete with students moved in.
"Here" Reno, located on the corner of 9th and Evans, is now topped off, and work now begins on filling in the shell. It's a large project with 182 units. You can find photos in the gallery below.
The UNR parking structure also continues to rise, and the skyway crossing 9th Street is taking shape.
Further up Virginia Street, Academy Reno, a huge 755-bed student housing project, has gone vertical, and the city-block size footprint is massive. Check it out in the gallery below.
I ventured further up Virginia and snapped a photo of the now-completed Park Place student housing project, along with Uncommon, both recently completed last year and this year.
Feels like a lot of new beds. No growth in UNR student population. What am I missing?
