I'm suprised, and somewhat relieved, there won't be any gaming on this corner.

Very interesting. Who are the developers, and what have they done in CA?

Greetings Brian. M&H Realty Partners (the new owners of Park Lane property) operate throughout California and focuses primarily on the development and redevelopment of neighborhood and community shopping centers. The firm has invested in excess of $1 billion since 1994 and has had ownership interests in more than 50 projects during that period. M&H projects in the Sacramento area have included Howe Bout Arden, University Mall in Davis, they recently renovated Westgate Mall in San Jose, and a large mall in Orange County (cant remember the name) and a couple in San Diego. So they basically specialize in revitalizing malls, or tearing them down and building newer, up to date profitable ones. I did a google search and didnt see any negative press on the company; it seems they have a formula for revitalizing these malls, so it will be very interesting to see what gets built on the Park Lane site. They were probably interested in having the gaming rezoned so they could have slot machines at a few of the establishments possibly?
