Good to see the development, but with the cost of travel increasing daily, do we think we'll be able to put (as the RSVCA refers to it) "heads on pillows"? Hard to see how the lack of business growth in this market will be supported by these new facilities.

There has been substantial business growth in this area, at least for my business. There have been many times where my company has sent workers/auditors out to this branch, and they would have much rather stayed in a business hotel then a stinky casino.

Holiday Inn Express is building on Market near Vassar. The main Holiday Inn tower near Sutro is losing the Holiday Inn name due to undesirables coming to Diamonds Casino....some other hotel chain will pick that one up...if they're lucky.

I don't know what it is about Diamonds casino but every goofy looking person in the area gravitates to that place. That Holiday Inn still gets lots of business! Wonder who will re-brand it?

And from the RGJ we have Hilton Garden Inn and a Marriott hotel (Courtyard?) going in at the Legends in Sparks. Lots of new hotels here.
