It seems Walgreens now wants to buy Longs. I'm hoping CVS gets it, but if Walgreens secures a deal to buy Longs the location on Sierra Street will probably never see the light of day due (they already have one store downtown). In fact, I wouldn't be suprised to see layoffs and closures of certain stores due to the sheer number of locations they would have in the area, many in the same neighborhood. CVS on the on the other hand is new to the are and has far fewer locations (they recently took over Sav On).
