The new West Street Market sign looks fantastic. It really brightens up the street at night. Im so glad that they decided not to go cheap on the sign. I really thought they would. Keep up the good work and start on installing the historic casino neon signs for the plaza and alley.

Looking good! The old firehouse building is coming along quite nicely and West Street Market looks GREAT! I love the signage.....I'm so glad they didn't skimp on this important feature. Reno should be proud of the progress made along the Truckee in the past 5 years. I only hope this a foreshadowing of things to come for the areas near the Train Trench and UNR.

Hey Downtown Makeover Dude, I have a project for you...Today (May 31st) the RiverWalk Towers developer had auctioned off 16 available units and also the ground retail space and the parking lot across second street. If you could find out who bought the ground floor and the parking lot and see if they have any current plans for them. As you know I have been waiting for some action regarding the retail space. This auction seems to be the closest thing to something happening. Activate your downtown snooping skills and let us know. Good luck to the challenge and keep up the great work.

I fell like I should know but what are the plans for the Firehouse? What is it used for now? I love your site and try to read it regularly
