A day downtown 6-7-07

More of Palladio's roof on, a bigger-than-I-thought pedestrian bridge, and more.

If downtown wants to attract full time residence with expendable incomes, I think we should have an enclosed off leash Dog Park with a separate enclosed area for small dogs. I would be willing to pay a monthly fee to have a nice clean place so that my dog could run and play with other dogs. The inside perimeter of the park should have plenty of shade trees and sitting benches.

On Pine and Virginia, the debris from the demolition of the Wedding Chapel and brick building next to it is completely cleared out.

Palladio
Palladio's roof on the south side is almost completely on

Longs Drugs drive through is now completely paved and landscaped.

Look at the size of the pedestrian bridge going in over the trench! At least I think this is the pedestrian bridge. I'm wondering if it's going to be completely enclosed, with glass windows, or just a roof put over it. In any case it's very wide.

Another view of the pedestrian bridge. Note how large it is standing next to the train station.
