Jacobs Entertainment today announced the reopening of Gold ’N Silver Inn following a renovation that blends the restaurant’s rich history with a refreshed dining experience designed for a new generation of guests.
A longtime Reno institution, Gold ’N Silver Inn has served locals, visitors and generations of families for decades. The renovation preserves the character and legacy that made the restaurant a community favorite while introducing a modernized interior, an inviting new bar and lounge space, and a revised menu featuring both longtime guest favorites and new offerings.
“Gold ’N Silver Inn has been part of Reno’s story for generations, and we are proud to usher in its next chapter,” said Jonathan Boulware, President of J Resort. “This renovation honors the history and legacy of an iconic local establishment while enhancing the overall guest experience. We are excited to welcome longtime customers back through the doors and introduce a new generation to everything that has made Gold ’N Silver a Reno favorite for decades.”
The renovation was designed by Reno-based One Studio D+A, whose team carefully balanced contemporary design elements with the restaurant’s historic identity. Construction was completed by Reno-based Lepori Construction, reflecting Jacobs Entertainment’s commitment to partnering with local firms and investing in the community.
The updated menu builds upon the restaurant’s reputation for classic American comfort food while introducing new culinary offerings and elevated dining options. Guests can continue to enjoy many of the signature dishes that have made Gold ’N Silver a local tradition, alongside new selections developed for today’s diners.
The reopening of Gold ’N Silver Inn represents another step forward in Jacobs Entertainment’s ongoing investment in downtown Reno and Reno’s Neon Line District. To date, Jacobs Entertainment has invested more than $500 million into the district, including the transformation of the J Resort and its recently completed North Expansion, the development of new market-rate and workforce housing, public art installations, community amenities and the creation of new soccer fields that recently hosted downtown Reno’s first youth soccer tournament.
