Old home moved one block instead of being demolished

An old house built in 1920 was moved one block, from 125 Park Street to a new location on the corner of Wells Avenue and Mill Street, the same location a duplex permit was recently submitted for new construction. 

It always makes my heart swell when I see a home moved instead of being demolished. This home must really mean a lot to someone, to move it one block east. Love it! 

In possubly related news, I also noticed 600 Mill Street was fenced off, with a Mardian Development sign on it (photos below). Could this be turning into a whole-block project?
