Permits for two new apartment buildings have surfaced, one at 847 Willow and one at 943 South Wells Avenue, which incldues refurbishing two existing units on the same property.
The permits read:
943 South Wells Avenue - APARTMENT BUILDING. SITE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED 5,589 SF 8 UNIT APARTMENT AND EXISTING 2 UNITS
843 Willow Street - APARTMENTS. SITE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED 8-UNIT MULTI-FAMILY APARTMENT COMPLEX
Also, Reno Experience District submitted a permit for a new 16,000 steel frame structure. According to the parcel map and comparing that to their site plan, this should be the market hall building, wedged between the Element Hotel to the west, the Great Park to the east and the new parking garage just to the north.
The permit reads:
2055 Red Drive ste 100 - COMMERCIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION. SITE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED APPOX. 16,000SF OF NEW CONSTRUCTION PRE-ENGINEERED METAL COMMERCIAL SHELL BUILDING W/MEZZANINE AND INCLUDES OUTDOOR RECREATION AREA. Building height: 38 feet, 1 story.
