Permits for a set of eight townhomes in downtown Reno

by Mike Van Houten / May 2, 2023

A project I thought was long-dead suddenly emerges from the ashes, with eight new permit submissions for three-story townhomes on Spokane Street downtown. The fact that each townhome has a different address, makes me think these will actually be for sale, and not considered to be a single apaertment complex.

The permits read:

RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION. NEW 3-STORY TOWNHOME CONSTRUCTION ON SLAB ON GRADE.

There are identical permits for 569, 567, 565, 561, 573, 563, 571, and 575 Spokane Street.

There's also a review permit here: SPOKANE STREET LOFT TOWNHOMES. SITE IMPROVEMENT PLANS FOR SPOKANE STREET LOFT TOWNHOMES WHICH INCLUDES PRIVATE ALLEYS, PRIVATE UTILITIES,SIDEWALK, CURB AND GUTTER, AND LANDSCAPING TO SERVE 38 SFR DEVELOPMENT. TENTATIVE MAP APPROVED UNDER LDC21-00050 AND RELATED TO FNL22-00005.

You can find a location map for the project below in the gallery.
