The Reno Aces have released their 2012 promotional calendar, with special giveaways, discount offers or theme nights covering each of the club’s 72 games at Aces Ballpark this season.
The 2012 season will include a number of exciting giveaways, including the Terrible’s Fleece Blanket presented by KOLO 8 News Now (April 7), the Dillard’s Batting Practice Jersey (May 5) and Dillard’s Youth Jersey (July 1; fans 12 and younger) and a Player Bobblehead presented by KOLO 8 News Now (Sept. 1). Other giveaways include the Division Championship Pennant presented by KOLO 8 News Now (April 21), Archie Bobble Toothbrush Holder Giveaway (July 29; fans 12 and younger) and Tin Lunch Box Giveaway (Aug. 26; fans 12 and younger).
Highlighting a full slate of theme nights will be “What Could Have Been Weekend” on July 14 and 15, where the Aces will change their uniforms—and their name—to one of the fan-submitted team name suggestions that didn’t make the cut. The promotion will include a bobblehead giveaway (July 14) and jersey auction (July 15). Other special themes include Military Appreciation Night (June 1), Prom Night (June 15), an Independence Day fireworks extravaganza (July 3) and—during the final series of the regular season—fans will run the game, choosing music selections, in-game promotions and more.
Every Sunday at Aces Ballpark will be a Renown Children’s Hospital Family Funday, featuring the return of the popular Baseball Bingo game. Mondays have been christened Om-Nom-Nomdays, where a select concessions item—hot dogs, ribs or nachos—will be available for just $1.
Fans can cash-in on one of Minor League Baseball’s best values during 2-for-$22 Tuesdays, where two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas can be purchased for just $22. This season, the Aces will introduce WINSdays every Wednesday at the ballpark. If the Aces win that day, everyone in attendance will receive special discount offers on tickets, merchandise or Freight House District food and drinks.
Weekends at Aces Ballpark will start early and feature a pair of popular annual promotions in the return of Coors Light Thirst Thursdays™ and Saint Mary’s Fireworks Fridays, presented by KRNV News 4.
The club will also roll-out a full schedule of special events for the 2012 season, including a pair of Girls Night Out promotions (May 4, July 27), Social Network Night (May 31) and two Dog Days of Summer events presented by On Command (July 24, Aug. 14).
