The most-talked-about project in the neighborhood right now is the newest duplex being constructed on Stewart Street between Wheeler and Holcomb. Veering off in a completely opposite direction than its light-and-wood textured brother next door, this baby is dark with a flat roof. Huge windows adorn the front.

Senior Housing Born from the Ashes
This project is looking great as well. Located on the 400 block of Moran between Wheeler and Wells, this burned out structure was an eyesore for the neighborhood for nearly a decade. Thanks to some grants, now it will be an 8-unit affordable senior housing complex. And to the negatoids who were commenting on my prior post that this wasn't a big deal, look at the before picture...
