Downtown Courtyard Marriott Photo Tour

by Mike Van Houten / Aug 5, 2016

A new-generation Courtyard Marriott is within days of opening in downtown Reno, across the street from Greater Nevada Field.

It will be opening a day early, on August 9. It represents a new generation of Courtyard Marriott. The in-house bistro has an expanded menu not normally offered in most Courtyards, and the decor is modern and light. The rooms are high tech, with two LAN ports, USB inputs, mega-fast internet (fiber-optic), 49 inch Smart TVS equipped with Netflix and other apps you can sign into and enjoy. Each room also includes a fridge, safe, and microwave, cleverly hidden in a modern design concept. Check out the photos below I explain more in each caption.

Work station

You can print your airline tickets at this station. Cool!

The bistro has an expanded menu.

A Courtyard Marriott must have a courtyard! This one is hidden in the center of the building.

Pool and spa, next to the Truckee River.

Both the pool and spa feature handicap lifts.

Riverfront lounge with fire pit feature.

Fitness center with machines, free weights and benches.

Moving onto the rooms, a nice shot of the 49-inch Smart TV, equipped with Netflix and other apps.

Cleverly hidden amenities.

Mobile work station on wheels.

The view!

This looks amazing! What a nice way to invite people of all ages and capabilities to your hotel. Will you be offering anything special just for us locals? I do not smoke.or gamble and as this hotel is staying with the Marriott guidelines. I'm more inclined to stay here for a romantic getaway than any other hotel in the area. Thank you for helping our economy and for making this a family friendly location. Great job!
