Le Crepe Cafe Takes Residence Downtown

by Mike Van Houten / Oct 18, 2013

I'm a crepe dude. My weekly excursions to Creme, located in Midtown on St. Lawrence Avenue, is evidence of that. I'm all about the lemon butter crepes sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with fresh fruit.

But behold! Another crepe cafe opened up downtown... into 170 South Virginia Street in the State Street building, joining La Famiglia and Fuego. Le Crepe Cafe.

Features authentic crepes, check out their menu, yum. I have yet to venture in, but it's on my list! They also have a Meadowood Mall location and two locations in Hawai'i.

I work across the street from this place, in the Wells Fargo buildling. Walked over this morning for a crepe breakfast, and it was delicious, and prepared fresh while I watched. Nice decor, friendly service, I love having a new breakfast option so close.

You are definitely missing out if you don't try Le Crepe Cafe downtown. They have the best crepes and pannis. Not to mention full espresso menu and fresh pastries and desserts. I found them last week and fell on love with the freindly, fun service of the staf. I have been back many times and Jim the manager already knows me by namef.

I tried Le Crepe Cafe in downtown Reno for the first time today. It was amazing. I had the Moulin Rouge crepe and it was very tasty. They use real roasted turkey breast meat, not the sliced lunch meat you get at other place. It was very filling. I will be sure to try a sweet crepe next time plus one of their mini cheesecakes. By the way the staff is the friendliest in all of downtown. Super all the way around.s

I was walking with my wife downtown last Saturday and stumbled onto Le Crepe Cafe. We were totally blown away. From the moment we walked into this place we felt like we were back in Paris. My wife and I were both from Paris. We now live in Reno, and have been craving REAL FRENCH crepes. Well we found them. Jim the manager explained to us that their recipe came from France. We doubted him, but he was correct. This is a touch of Paris in Reno. We are Iin love with Le Crepe Cafe. Thank you for your perfect service and perfect crepes.
