Demolition permits have been issues for 115 and 135 West Liberty Street, the old 'House of Blends' building and it's adjacent neighbor, to demolish the buildings and clear the remaining property.
Unsure at this point what is planned for the property, but the last major project planned here was Arterra, which you can find my 'retired' page for it here.
It might be as simple as a surface parking lot, or it could be something bigger, either residential or commercial. Hopefully we'll know soon!
I guess that "Suffragettes driving thru the Nevada desert in 1909" wall painting will be lost. forever.
