Living around the corner from this store, I stop in quite a bit. Although their prices are a bit on the high end, it's great if I only need a few things. They have fresh fruit and veggies, meats, dairy, dry foods ... all the major grocery store stuff, just in smaller quantities. A few weeks ago I discovered that they offer a 10% discount to people who WORK downtown (but not people who LIVE downtown - I'm hoping that will change).

Great little store right around the corner from where I live with subs to die for along wirh basics for those emergencies.

My husband and I visited this store varies times the emploeys are great. Great food and customer service on the other hand the owner and her daughter have been very rude with no reason they make unappetizing food we don't go there any more when those 2 lady's are working
Downtown Marketplace - Reno grocery store
Don't mistake Downtown Marketplace for a convenience store; many items it sells go far beyond convenience store levels. Located at the West Street Market, you can't miss the bright red color of the building and espresso sign on the sidewalk.
This store features fresh produce, dry foods like cereal, a full deli, a full espresso bar, a smoothie bar featuring fresh fruit, and more, tucked into a tiny urban space. It's a must-stop if you are downtown!
You can buy meats deli-style by the pound, including black forest ham, turkey, salami and more. Great Basin Food Co-Op provides the fresh produce, and enjoy healthy presliced fruit as snacks.
