West Street Wine Bar

The West Street Wine Bar is located at the West Street Market, a collection of stores and restaurants located in the heart of downtown Reno on West Street, between 1st Street and 2nd Street.

The bar is the brainchild of Rick Martinez, a man who knows his wines, and is happy to help you pick the perfect wine out. The place has free wi-fi, which helps to draw a slightly more sophisticated crowd than you'd see at some of the other downtown bars.

The vibe is cool and trendy (in a good way!) They have an awesome wine selection that exceed 50 wines, and is priced right. I am not a big wine drinker myself, but my friends are, and this place is a must-stop at 6 p.m. on Friday.

The staff plays music right from their iPods, so the music stays fresh and is ever-changing. It also helps West Street Wine Bar is mart of the mix at West Street Market, because the place always seems to be hopping with people on weeknights and weekends.
