River 12 Movie Theaters

The Riverside 12 movie theater in downtown Reno is considered to be the project that started redevelopment in downtown Reno. Taking an ugly city block and transforming it into a state-of-the-art theater and retail complex was the first step to bringing people downtown. Naysayers said no one would ever go downtown for a movie....the popularity of the movie theater says otherwise! This theater has a big spacious lobby with concessions and a separate espresso bar, and very steep stadium seating to ensure your view isn't blocked during your movie, and the latest and greatest digital sound. Go catch a movie! Park in theking Garage across the street from the movie theater (entrance is onFirst Street) and your parking is free with validated movie ticket.

I went to my first Reno Bighorns game Saturday. Only $10 got me inside. The afternoon games have lots of kids and at this one the Bighorns saluted local elementary honor students by letting them line up and recite their name and school on the PA system before the game! The quality of play is very good! These guys are pros. One of the Reno players was called up to the Sac. Kings after the game. Check it out! Next home games are Jan. 30-31st and Feb. 21st-22nd,- 27th. March 1.
