WHEN: January 29, 2015, 4:30-6:30 pm

WHERE: 211 West 1st Street, suite 201

WHAT: Open house showcasing new studio and showroom

WEBSITE: http://www.hbdg.com/

Henrikson/Butler is the exclusive Herman Miller dealership for the state of Nevada, and has operated in Las Vegas for 11 years and are thrilled to have a new space and a local team in Reno. Their new Reno office is in a 79 year old building that they've completely renovated to support their team and the local design community. It features an open plan with lots of natural light, modern and classic furniture, exposed brick, and lovely views of the river and mountains.

They are super proud of their new 'Living Office' showroom, and I encourage everyone to head down and check it out! It's not often that new retail comes to downtown, so let's support them in this endeavor of theirs.

From their website, they are only using this space temporarily until their actual showroom somewhere else (not listed is complete). Until then you can only visit their temporary location downtown by making an appointment. Any idea where their actual showroom is going to be?

Sara- Per their website, this is the gallery, the temporary home is listed at the bottom of that blurb- 1 East Liberty.

hi Sara! They told me they worked over 6 months on perfecting this space, so I am pretty sure the 1st Street address is their final showroom space. That would be a huge time investment for a temporary space!

Thanks to both of you for the reading comprehension assist on that one -- I completely misunderstood their website. Knowing that their new site on 1st Street is in fact their final showroom I look forward to checking it out.
