This place is choice. They do a good job of bringing in fresh stuff all year long.

Great Basin Food Co-op
The Great Basin Food Co-op is a food cooperative that involves many local farmers and vendors. Basically, you become a lifetime member, and you get access to the store and direct fresh produce, vegetables and other goodies from local farmers and vendors. It's a great outfit, and I strongly suggest becoming a member.
The co-op recently moved over to a location that gives them more breathing room and access to downtown residents, at 542 ½ Plumas St.. You can call them at (775) 324-6133.
