3rd Street Flats

3rd Street Flats is a hotel-casino-turned-apartments project downtown. It was formerly the Kings Inn, a long-closed-down hotel casino that was universally agreed to be the worst eyesore in downtown Reno before work began on 3rd Street Flats.

Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern Nevada and Northern California real estate investor and developer that owns three large office towers downtown, has partnered with Nevada developer and contractor Bentar Development to develop the 3rd Street Flats. This 94 unit upscale apartment complex is slated to open late Fall 2016.

The new apartments feature open concept floor plans with contemporary finishes including high-end appliances, custom kitchen islands with European cabinetry, quartz surface countertops, pendant lighting, plank flooring and ceramic tile in baths. It will also feature a sky pool and sun deck on the third level, a fitness studio, secure underground parking and the pet friendly amenities of a bark park and dog washing station.
